The study aimed at knowing the effect of using training videos of basketball skills on the 8th grade female students and measuring the effect of their acquiring for and their oriented to the skills. The quasi-experimental method was used as a result of appropriating the method with the common entertoyment of the study. The sample of the study consisted of two sections from the eighth-grade female students at Altalbieh Preparatory School for Girls; one of the UNRWA schools. One of the two sections was chosen randomly as the experimental sample. The number of the chosen section of the conducting study was 39 students who was taught by using training videos, and the number of the setter group was 39, who was taught by the usual way of training basketball game. As well.to achieve the goals of the study, videos training of basketball skills was set, dribble, passing and shooting. A survey of measuring the students’ orientations was done, and the appropriate statistical process was fulfilled. The results show that there were differences of a fully content statistical scale in the average of the collective test of using the training videos in acquiring the basketballs skills in the favor of the experimental group and there were positive orientations from the students to the game. The study recommended the importance of using all basketball skills for positively being reflected on the performance of the students. (Author's abstract)
