This study aimed to identify the general objectives of social and national education in the stages of general education in the Arab world through research and studies that dealt with the subject of social and national education, and to monitor the findings of these studies and research. The researcher used the qualitative analytical method, and the sample of the study consisted of (30) research and scientific studies that dealt with research and studies conducted in the Arab world on the subject of social and national education, and applied this study to the research and studies that were obtained in this field, especially studies modern. Study tool: the researcher relied on the tool of surveying and analyzing the studies, and the analysis card included the following elements: the study objective, study methodology, study sample, study tool, study results, study recommendations. The study found that the research and studies that were analyzed, reviewed, monitored and classified, indicated the following results: the students' interest in the subject and the satisfaction of the subject for their educational needs were moderate, and the traditional teaching methods such as meeting and discussion are still prevalent, and there is a lack of use of school activities in the curriculum, and in the availability of the necessary educational possibilities for it, and that the methods of evaluation used are objective tests, while other questions are used to a medium degree, the lack of educational means, and the absence of a specialized teacher to teach them, i.e. the subject of education social and national, emphasize the importance of educational policy and set clear goals for the concept of citizenship.
