هدف البحث إلى الكشف عن الإسهام النسبي للشفقة بالذات والتدين في التنبؤ بالاتزان الانفعالي لدى طلاب الجامعة ذوي الإعاقة البصرية، وتكونت عينة البحث من (76) طالبا وطالبة من ذوي الإعاقة البصرية من كليتي التربية والآداب في جامعة الإسكندرية، وتم استخدام ثلاثة مقاييس هي الشفقة بالذات والتدين والاتزان الانفعالي، من إعداد الباحثة، وأسفر البحث عن النتائج التالية: عدم وجود تأثير دال إحصائيا لمتغيري النوع الاجتماعي (ذكور/ إناث) ونوع الإعاقة البصرية (ضعاف البصر/ مكفوفين) والتفاعل بينهما على الاتزان الانفعالي والشفقة بالذات والتدين لدى الطلاب ذوي الإعاقة البصرية، توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطي رتب درجات الطلاب مرتفعي ومنخفضي مستوى الشفقة بالذات على مقياس الاتزان الانفعالي لصالح الطلاب مرتفعي مستوى الشفقة بالذات، توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطي رتب درجات الطلاب مرتفعي ومنخفضي مستوى التدين على مقياس الاتزان الانفعالي لصالح الطلاب مرتفعي مستوى التدين، توجد علاقة ارتباطية دالة إحصائيا بين كل من الاتزان الانفعالي والشفقة بالذات والتدين لدى طلاب الجامعة ذوي الإعاقة البصرية، تسهم كل من الشفقة بالذات والتدين إسهاما دالًا إحصائيا في التنبؤ بالاتزان الانفعالي لدى طلاب الجامعة ذوي الإعاقة البصرية. The research aimed at determining the proportional contribution of self - compassion and religiosity in predicting the emotional stability among university students with visual disability, the participants consisted of (76) male and female Students with visual disability from faculty of Education and faculty of Arts in Alexandria University, the tools of the research included three scales: self - compassion, religiosity, emotional stability, they were prepared by the researcher, the results showed that: there is no statistically significant effect due to gender ( male -female) and type of visual disability ( blind – partially Sighted ) and the interaction between them in the emotional stability, the self - compassion and religiosity among the university students with visual disability, there are statistically significant differences between the means of ranking scores of the students with the higher and lower levels of self - compassion on the scale of emotional stability favoring students with higher level of self - compassion, there are statistically significant differences between the means of ranking scores of the students with the higher and lower levels of religiosity on the scale of emotional stability favoring students with higher level of religiosity, there are positive statistically significant correlations between each of self - compassion, religiosity and emotional stability among university students with visual disability, both self - compassion and religiosity contribute in predicting emotional stability among university students with visual disability in a statistically significant way.
