The aim of this research is to find the relationship between mental motivation and psychological barriers in the students of the fourth stage of football in the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences- University of Diyala, for the importance of the development of educational goals. The problem was represented by the problems of the students of the fourth stage in the entry of football for the open spaces for the first time, and after searching for studies on (mental motivation and psychological barriers in the students of the fourth stage in the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences football), the researchers did not find any study on the variables with some and for the same sample. The descriptive approach was carried out in the manner of interrelationships to suit the nature of the problem. The results were the existence of mental motivation and psychological barriers in the students, and the lack of correlation between the mental motivation and psychological barriers for students in the fourth stage. The study recommended the establishment of various sports activities for students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences to reduce the severity of psychological barriers. And the introduction of the football field for the female students in two stages in the university study rather than in one year and in the fourth stage. (Published abstract)
