استهدف البحث الحالی التعرف على فاعلیة التعلم التنافسی المدمج في تدریس الاقتصاد المنزلي لتنمیة الإبداع التكنولوجي والسلوك الإیثاري لدى طالبات الصف الأول الثانوی، واعتمد البحث على المنهج الوصفي التحلیلي وشبه التجریبي، وتكونت عینة البحث من (64) طالبة تم تقسیمهن إلى مجموعتین إحداهما تجریبیة قوامها (33) طالبة، والأخری ضابطة (31) طالبة، وقد تمثلت المواد المعالجة التعلیمیة للبحث في: دلیل المعلمة لتدریس الوحدة موضوع البحث وفقًا للتعلم التنافسي المدمج، وكراسة نشاط الطالبة. أما أدوات البحث فقد تمثلت في: اختبار مهارات الإبداع التكنولوجي، ومقیاس السلوك الإیثاري، ثم تم تطبیق أدوات البحث قبلیًا على المجموعتین (التجریبیة، والضابطة)، ثم تم دراسة الوحدة محل التجریب بالطریقة التقلیدیة للمجموعة الضابطة، بینما درست المجموعة التجریبیة باستخدام التعلم التنافسي المدمج، ثم طبقت أدوات البحث بعدیًا، وتم تحلیل البیانات وإجراء المعالجات الإحصائیة المناسبة. وتوصلت نتائج البحث إلى وجود فرق ذو دلالة إحصائیة بین متوسط درجات الطالبات بالمجموعة التجریبیة والمجموعة الضابطة في التطبیق البعدي لاختبار مهارات الإبداع التكنولوجي، ومقیاس السلوك الإیثاري لصالح المجموعة التجریبیة، كذلك وجود فرق ذو دلالة إحصائیة بین متوسط درجات الطالبات بالمجموعة التجریبیة في التطبیقین القبلي والبعدي لصالح التطبیق البعدي، كما أسفرت النتائج عن وجود علاقة إرتباطیة موجبة بین نمو كل من الإبداع التكنولوجي والسلوك الإیثاري بعد تدریس وحدة (مفاتیح شخصیتك) وفقًا للتعلم التنافسي المدمج لدى طالبات الصف الأول الثانوي (عینة البحث)، وقد أوصی البحث بضرورة الإهتمام بتقدیم المحتوی التعلیمي في صورة مهام وأنشطة تثیر المتعلمین نحو مهارات الإبداع التكنولوجي، وتسهم في ممارستهم للسلوك الإیثاري والعمل على استخدام التعلم التنافسي المدمج في تدریس الاقتصاد المنزلي في مختلف المراحل الدراسیة، وعقد الدورات التدریبیة للمعلمات بهدف التدریب على آلیة العمل وفقًا للتعلم التنافسي المدمج. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effectiveness of blended competitive learning in teaching home economics in developing first year secondary students’ technological innovation and altruistic behavior. The study adopted the semi-experimental and analytical descriptive design. The study sample consisted of (64) female students which was divided into two groups; the experimental group (33) female students and the control group (31) female students. The teaching resources of the study are represented in: teacher’s guide of blended competitive learning units and student’s activity book. To collect data, the researcher designed the research tools such as technological innovation skills test, altruistic behavior scale which were approved by the jury members then the study tools were pre- administered. The experimental group was taught through the blended competitive learning while the control group was taught through the traditional teaching methods then the tools of the study were post- administered. The data was analysed, and appropriate statistical analyses were conducted. The results of the study showed that were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the study sample in their performance in the pre and post administration of the inferential reading comprehension test favoring the post administration. Results also indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the study sample in their performance in the pre and post administration of the technological innovation skills test and the altruistic behavior scale test favoring the post- administration. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of experimental study group in the pre- and post administration favoring the post administration. In addition, the results revealed that there was a positive correlation between developing the performance of the first-year secondary students’ technological innovation and altruistic behavior after using character’s keys unit according to the blended competitive learning. It was recommended that there is a need to pay attention to administer the educational content in the form of tasks and activities which motivate learners towards using technological innovation skills to enhance their practices of altruistic behavior, to administer the blended competitive learning teaching home economics in all levels of education and to conduct training courses for female teachers for training them on how to teach by using the blended competitive learning.
