This study aimed at identifying the image of psychological counselor as perceived by students in the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University of Yarmouk, and to investigate whether it would differ according to the variables of: Gender, and academic level. The sample of the study consisted of (349) meal and female undergraduate students. The data were handled statistically by calculated the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Two-Way MANOVA, and Scheffe test. The results revealed that the image of psychological Counselor among students was positive, the study results also showed that male students scored significantly higher than female students on the personal component, and that 4th year students scored significantly higher than those in 2nd and 3rd year on social relations component. The results were discussed in light of previous studies, and a number of recommendations were suggested. (Published abstract)
