The present study aimed to explore the levels of engagement reading for general education stages pupils according some variables, the sample of the study consist of 360 students, they divided to three groups according to: their Educational stage (Primary, Preparatory, and Secondary), their verbal ability (high, medium, and low), and their parents' education level (high, medium, and low). The researcher used a test consist of 100 items to demonstrate the levels of individuals in Engagement reading. The results of the study indicated to: (1) there are significant statistical differences in levels of engagement reading according to educational stage of pupils, and the pupils' verbal abilities, and their parents' education level. The study recommends developing engagement reading, and generalizing it in various stages of education. (Published abstract)
