مع التطور السريع الحادث في المجتمعات في ظل مجتمع المعرفة والتقنية الرقمية ويتطلب هذا الأمر أعداد من المتعلمين الذين يمتلكون المهارات الضرورية لاستخدام المعلومات والمشاركة فيها. وهدف البحث إلى معرفة دور المكتبة الالكترونية في تحقيق التعليم المستمر، والمشكلات التي تواجه المكتبات الالكترونية، واستخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي، وتوصل البحث إلى أن المكتبات الالكترونية لها دور كبير في تحقيق التعليم المستمر عن طريق إتاحة المعلومات في أي وقت وأي مكان. With quick development-happened in societies under the knowledge society and digital technology, required numbers of educated-people who have necessary skills to use information and participate in it. This research aims to determine the role of the electronic library to achieve continuing education, the problems which facing the electronic libraries, it used the descriptive method and arrived to that the electronic libraries have big role to achieve continuing education by making available information in anytime or anyplace.
