يهدف البحث إلى محاولة الكشف عن فاعلية استخدام القصة في تدريس مادة الدراسات الاجتماعية لتنمية المواطنة لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الإعدادية. ولتحقيق هذا الهدف أعدّ الباحثان الأدوات الآتية: 1) كتاب التلميذ لدراسة الوحدة المختارة باستخدام القصة. 2) دليل المعلم لتدريس الوحدة المختارة باستخدام القصة. 3) مقياس المواطنة. اختار الباحثان عشوائيا عينة البحث من تلاميذ الصف الثاني الإعدادي مكوّنة من 68 تلميذا مقسّمة إلى مجموعتين: مجموعة تجريبية ومجموعة ضابطة. وتم تطبيق مقياس لحل المواطنة على المجموعتين قبليا، وجرى تدريس المجموعة التجربيبة باستخدام القصة، ثم تطببق مقياس المواطنة على المجموعتين بعديّا، وقد أوضحت نتائج البحث تفوق تلاميذ المجموعة التجريبية على المجموعة الضابطة، وفاعلية استخدام القصة في تدريس الدراسات الاجتماعية لتنمية المواطنة لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الإعدادية. وفي ضوء هذه النتائج، تم التوصل إلى بعض التوصيات، مثل: 1) تدريب المعلمين على كيفية استخدام القصة في تدريس مادة الدراسات الاجتماعية، أو أيّ مادة أخرى لتنمية المواطنة. 2) تصميم الوحدات الدراسية ودليل المعلم وفقاً للأسلوب القصصي، مع بيان كيفية استخدامه. Current research aims to attempt to detect the effectiveness of using the story in the teaching of social studies for the development of citizenship, For junior high school students. To achieve this goal researcher prepared the following tools: 1) Student Book selected for the study of the unit using the story. 2) Teacher’s guide to the teaching of the unit selected using the story. 3) Citizenship scale. The researcher chose randomly sample of second graders preparatory made up of 68 pupils divided into two groups experimental group and a control group, and applied researcher citizenship two tribal scale, then the researcher taught the experimental group using the story, and then the application of citizenship two dimensional scale, and had made it clear the search results outweigh the pupils of the experimental group and the control group on the effectiveness of using the story in the teaching of social studies for the development of citizenship, for junior high school students, and in the light of these results have been reached some recommendations, such as: 1) Training teachers how to use the story in the teaching of social studies or any other material for the development of citizenship. 2) Design modules and teacher’s guide according to the style of fiction, with a statement of how to use it.
