تعد التنمية المهنية للمعلم بصفة عامة، ولمعلم الكبار بصفة خاصة، من أهم القضايا التي نالت اهتمام دول العالم على مختلف مستوياتها متقدمة أو نامية، باعتبار أن المعلم هو أساس نجاح الجهود التي تبذل لإصلاح التعليم، سواء في فصول محو الأمية أو في مدرسة الفصل الواحد. ومن ثم تهتم مصر بتنمية معلّم الكبار تنمية مهنية، من خلال تدريبه قبل الخدمة وأثناء الخدمة، وقد طرحت الدراسة عدداً من المقترحات الإجرائية لتفعيل التنمية المهنية لمعلم الكبار. The professional development for teachers in general and especially for adult educator is considered one of the most important issues which has interest of the world countries whether the advanced or the developing countries. Considering that the teacher is the base of efforts success which are done to reform the education whether in classes of illiteracy elimination or in one classroom school. So Egypt is interested in adult educator through training pre- service and in- service. The current study gives a number of procedural suggestions for activating the professional development.
