هدف البحث التعرف على أثر استخدام نموذج (وودز) في تحصيل طالبات الصف الثاني المتوسط في مادة الرياضيات وتنمية تفكيرهن التأملي. وللوصول الى هذا البحث تمت صياغة ست فرضيات صفرية. وللتحقق من فرضيات البحث، تمّ اختيار عينة من طالبات الصف الثاني المتوسط في ثانوية دار العلوم للبنات في مدينة الموصل للعام الدراسي (2018-2017) وقد بلغ مجموع افرادها (82) طالبة وتوزعت هذه العينة الى شعبتين احداهما تمثل المجموعة التجريبية والاخرى تمثل المجموعة الضابطة وبواقع (42-40) طالبة على التوالي. وأجريت عملية التكافؤ بين طالبات مجموعتي البحث في متغيرات (الذكاء، والمعدل العام للسنة السابقة، وتحصيل مادة الرياضيات للسنة السابقة، والعمر بالأشهر، المستوى التعليمي للأبوين، والتفكير التأملي). The aim of this research is to identify the effect of using the (Woods) model on the achievement of second grade students in mathematics and the development of their reflective thinking. In order to reach this research, six zero hypotheses were formulated. To verify the research hypotheses, a sample of second grade intermediate students was selected at Dar Al Uloom Girls School in Mosul for the academic year (2018-2017). The total number of its members was (82) students and this sample was divided into two divisions. One represents the experimental group and the other represents the control group (40-42) Student respectively, and the process of parity between the students of the two research groups in the variables (intelligence, and the general average of the previous year, and the achievement of mathematics for the previous year, age in months, the educational level of parents, and reflective thinking). After data collection and statistical analysis using T-Test for two independent samples (T-Test) and with the help of SPSS program. (Published abstract)
