The evaluation is very important for many institutions, organizations and bodies of all kinds. It has the effective effect of improving these institutions for their role and performance. This is done by following up the evaluation of their practices, including the scientific departments in the colleges. Scientific departments, and for the purpose of expressing the views of department heads and quality educators in the faculties of the University of Babylon in the form of evaluation of the performance of scientific sections and its impact on the quality of performance prepared a questionnaire consisting of (35) items distributed over (5) areas: 1) The first field: scientific research and the number of items (4). 2) Field 2: Improving Quality and Accreditation and the number of items (15). 3) The third field: Faculty members and the number of items (3). 4) The fourth field: scientific activities and the number of items (4). 5) The fifth field: general opinions and the number of items (9). The sample of the research was composed of a number of department heads and 40 teachers. After calculating the sample estimates for the questionnaires and the weighted mean and percentage percentages, the results showed the following: 1) The weighted mean and percentage weight at all levels of the questionnaire was acceptable. 2) Measuring the degree of performance of the scientific sections helps to raise the level of performance of the sections. 3) Measuring the degree of performance of the scientific sections is an urgent need to continue to be important. 4) Some paragraphs cannot be used for both scientific and human sections. 5) The measurement of the degree of performance of the scientific departments did not contribute to the review of sections of the requirements of the labor market.
