The presented research aimed to identify : 1) sublimate the self at university students. 2) significant differences in the sublimation of self at the university students a shelter sexual (male – female) and specialty (scientific – humanist) . 3) critical thinking among college students.4) significant differences in critical thinking of college students on as heterosexual (male -female) and specialty (scientific –humanist) 5) The contribution of critical thinking of college students in the sublimation of self . In order to achieve the objectives of this research are underway including : 1) Adopt a measure sublimation of self at the university students a cording to the theory of (Red) which consisted of finalized (24), after completing the terms of validity and reliability and highlight paragraphs , reliability coefficient for scale in away that retesting (0.74)and reliability coefficient Alpha way – Lkronbakh (0.89). 2) Translation and adopt a measure critical thinking of college students (Farouk Abdel Salam , Mamdouh Sulaiman) which consisted of finalized 9 25 ) after completing the terms of validity and reliability and highlight passages and reliability coefficient for scale as all one way hash midterm ( 0.74) and reliability coefficient Alpha way – Lkronbakh(0.78) . Search is determined by Baghdad university students for the academic year 2014 – 2015 Which consists of the research community (400) students , (200), (200) and adopted the descriptive relational search , to research objectives research’s search standards applied on then analyzed the data using social science statistical pouch processing data (spss). He results show what comes to university students : 1) Enjoy the sublimation of self and outperform males on females in sublimation. 2) Impartial critical thinking the males from the females. According to the finding of the research provided some recommendations and proposals. (Published Abstract)
