هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة مستوى التوافق النفسي والاجتماعي للطلبة ذوي الإعاقة في جامعة مؤتة، وكذلك هدفت إلى معرفة أثر متغيرات (الجنس، نوع الإعاقة، العمر) عليه. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، تم تطوير استبيان لقياس مستوى التوافق النفسي والاجتماعي للطلبة ذوي الإعاقة من قبل الباحثة، وطبق على عينة من الطلبة ذوي الإعاقة في الجامعة قوامها (26) طالب وطالبة. أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن مستوى التوافق النفسي والاجتماعي للطلبة ذوي الإعاقة في جامعة مؤتة كان مرتفعاً جداً، وأنه توجد فروقاً دالة إحصائياً في مستوى التوافق النفسي والاجتماعي تعزى لمتغير الجنس لصالح الذكور، وأنه لا توجد فروقاً دالة إحصائياً في مستوى التوافق النفسي والاجتماعي تعزى لمتغيري (نوع الإعاقة، والعمر). وأخيراً، أشارت النتائج إلى أن هناك العديد من التحديات والعقبات التي تواجه الطلبة ذوي الإعاقة في جامعة مؤتة تتعلق بالتعامل مع الزملاء والمدرسين، وكذلك التيسيرات البيئية في الجامعة. This study aimed to identify the level of psychological and social adjustment of persons with disabilities at Mu’tah University; also it aimed to investigate the effect of some variables (Gender, Type of disability, and Age) on it. In order to achieve aims of this study, a questionnaire of psychological and social adjustment was used to collect data from (26) students with disabilities (male, and female). The results showed that the level of psychological and social adjustment for students with disabilities was very high, and there are statistically significant differences between students with disabilities in the level of psychological and social adjustment due to gender and these differences favor to the male. Also, there are no statistically significant differences between students with disabilities in the level of psychological and social adjustment due to type of disability and age. Finally, the results indicated that there are many challenges and barriers faced by students with disabilities at Mu’tah University relative to dealing with colleagues and teachers of University, as well as environmental facilitations at the University.
