يهدف البحث الحالي إلى التعرف على اسباب التأخر الدراسي في مادة اللغة العربية لدى عينة من طلبة الصف الاول المتوسط، و الكشف عن اسبابها من وجهة نظر الطلبة المتأخرين دراسياً ومن وجهة نظر المدرسين والمدرسات، و حدد الباحث حدود البحث مكانياً و زمانياً و بشرياً، و اعدّ الباحث أداة البحث (استبانة)، واستعمل المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لتحقيق نتائج البحث، و توصل الباحث إلى أن المستوى الثقافي للاسرة، و المستوى الاقتصادي للاسرة، وحجمها من أهم اسباب تأخر الطلبة، و أوصى الباحث بمزيد من الدراسات لهذا الجانب، و زيادة عدد الحصص الدراسية للغة العربية، و العمل على رفع كفاءة المدرسين، و توجيه الاسر إلى متابعة تعلم أبنائها. The current research aims to identify the size of the phenomenon of underachievement in Arabic language among a sample of first grade average students, and disclosure of causes from the viewpoint of latecomers students academically, and select the researcher limits search spatially and temporally, and human, and promising researcher search tool (questionnaire), and use descriptive and analytical approach to achieve results, the researcher found that the cultural level of the family, and the economic level of Aceh, the size of the family of the most important reasons for the delay students, the researcher recommended further studies to this aspect, and increase the number of classes of the Arabic language and working to raise the efficiency of teachers and guide families to follow their children learn.
