The aim of this study is to find out about the trends of the Yemeni universities' students towards watching news programs in Al-Jazeera. This study makes use of the descriptive approach. The survey methodology was used to collect data on a sample of 250 Yemeni students. The number of (7) forms that were not valid for analysis was excluded. The study was carried out during the year 2017.The most prominent results of the study are: 1)The sample respondents' lack of information in the political field leads them to watch Al Jazeera channel at an average of (2.58). Al Jazeera also contributes positively to providing the respondents with the knowledge of the political events at the average of (2.57). 2) The existence of a statistically significant relation between the sex variable and the communicator-level strategy at the level of significance of (.003) as well as the variable (habits and patterns of watching at the level of significance of (.004). 3) There is no significance in the variables (news content, rumors realized) and this result confirms that the communicator in Aljazeera channel focuses on the interests of the recipients as a result of their lack of information in the political field, which agrees with their watching habits and patterns.
