This study aims at identifying the status of administrative empowerment of schools' principals in Ramallah and Al-Bireh schools as seen by the principals themselves. The population of the study consisted of all schools' principals in public, private and UNRWA schools with a total of (244). A stratified random sample was chosen according to the study variables which represented 82% of the population and with a total of 200 male and female principals. To achieve the goal of the study, the researcher developed a 40-item questionnaire distributed over five domains. The validity and reliability of this tool were examined by appropriate statistical methods. The findings of the study showed that the administrative empowerment of schools' principals in Ramallah and AlBireh from their point of view is high on the degree of the overall scale, with mean of (3.76). The findings also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the average of estimates of the members of the sample due to the study variables (supervising body and years of experience). In light of these findings, the researchers came out with several recommendations. (Published abstract)
