The aim of this study was to identify the obstacles of utilizing the artworks of art education department’s students from the perspective of faculty members and students at the University of Umm Al-Qura. It covered a sample of (143) participants; (13) faculty members and (130) students. It adopted a questionnaire comprising (4) domains (a total of 40 items) on the obstacles and solutions as the tool of data collection. It concluded that there were no significant differences at the level of (0.05) among the arithmetic means of the participants in terms of utilizing the artworks of art education department’s students from the perspective of faculty members and students. Additionally, there were no significant differences in the responses of the faculty members and students in terms of the obstacles and solutions: financial cost (M= 0.45, SD= 0.91), technical practice (M= 0.92, SD= 0.96), arts contribution (M= 0.53, SD=1.03), and artwork preservation (M = 0.25, SD= 0.80). The study recommended: 1) addressing the obstacles that hinder utilizing the artworks of students and faculty members in the departments of art education. 2) Making use of the proposed solutions regarding the mechanism of utilizing artworks in the departments of art education. 3) Developing a procedural manual for the mechanism of utilizing artworks in the departments of art education. 4) Providing a platform to display the artworks of the departments of art education at the various universities and putting them for auction.
