This study aims to detect the extent of knowledge that some students of King Khalid University have about social networks and identify their attitudes towards networks like "Facebook, Twitter, Blogs". It also aims to examine the indicator of the differences between the averages trends of some of King Khalid University students towards social networks, which are attributed to the variables of: age, study program, academic level, and marital status. The research sample consists of 80 female students; 40 students in the Psychology Department, and 40 in the English department - College of Arts and Education - King Khalid University in Abha - Saudi Arabia. The descriptive approach is used because it is the appropriate approach for the nature of the current study. I come to several conclusions, the most important of which is that the members of the sample have a previous idea about social networks by (96.3%) and have actually been using these networks by (100%) and the most used network is Twitter by (63.8%), then Facebook, followed by blogs. They also asserted that these networks give the individual more freedom to express his opinions, form a source to get the social and academic news quickly, and help them to exchange their views and ideas easily and quickly. It is also showed that there are statistically significant differences between the averages trends of some students of King Khalid University towards social networks in the academic and intellectual aspect attributed to the variables of age (top age group) and top-level school (eighth) and only in the academic aspect attributed to the variable of marital status for the account of the married students.
