The researcher used the experimental method as it suits the nature of the study. The study is conducted on the third year students, college of physical education, Kirkuk University in 2017-2018 ad as the study community. The subjects are composed of (24) students who have been chosen randomly from the original community. They are of two groups (A and B) respectively. They have been divided into two experimental groups; each of which contains (12) students. The first group is taught according to triple mutual exchange method while the second is taught according to small cooperative groups’ style. A kind of identity of the essential factors such as (age, tallness, and mass) is made between the two groups as well as making an equivalence in some elements of fitness and effective kinetic of teaching the skills of the front kick and the back kick in table tennis. Moreover, an equivalence of cognitive achievements in tennis as a subject of the first course curriculum. The researcher depended on experimental design of equivalent bi-experimental groups of both pre-tests and post-tests. A special teaching program for (front and back) kick in table tennis for both groups has been prepared by the researcher and which is in accordance with the two styles proposed for teaching and which are under the light of the suggested textbook (a ball racket playing) and according to behavioral goals edition. Implementation of the program took six weeks of one teaching unit a week for both styles. The program is executed since the 17th of March, 2018 up to the 11th of April, 2018 after applying the experiment and making the post-test. The same test has been repeated after two weeks of the acquisition test so as to measure the retaining of both skills (the front kick and the back kick) as well measuring the retaining of the cognitive achievements of third year students in table tennis. The researcher used the following statistical means: arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test for interconnected samples of equal numbers, t-test for independent samples of equal numbers, percentages, and statistical package (SPSS).
