this Research aims to identify the level of citizenship among university students, the level of social responsibility, and the differences in the level of citizenship among university students in the variable gender (male-female) and the differences in the level of social responsibility according to the variable gender (male-female) and identify the relationship link between citizenship and social responsibility among students of Al. Mustansiriya University The sample consisted of 150 students, selected by random stratified method of students of AL. Mustansiriya University College of education and (9) sections and the number of males (70) and female (80) student. A scale (Amar 2005) for citizenship as a (40) paragraph and(Al-Azi 2008) for the variable of social responsibility and that of (42) paragraph and the following results : 1) The level of citizenship in the sample is very low 2) The level of social responsibility 3) there are on statistical significant differences in the level of citizenship according to gender in the sample of the research. 4) there are on statistical significant differences in the level of social responsibility according to gender in the sample. 5) there is a proportional between citizenship and social responsibility. The researchers have put forward a number of recommendation and Suggestions. (Published Abstract)
