هدفت الدراسة للتعرف على درجة ممارسة رؤساء الأقسام العلمية في كلية التربية الأساسية للعمليات الإدارية في إدارة أقسامهم. وركزت الدراسة على درجة ممارسة كل من القيادة- التخطيط- التنظيم- الاتصال- التوجيه- اتخاذ القرار- التقويم. كما بحثت الدراسة أثر متغير الجنس والمسمى الوظيفي والخبرة على نتائج الدراسة. قام الباحث بتطبيق استبانة تتكون من 51 عبارة موزعة على 7 محاور تشكل العمليات الإدارية المذكورة أعلاه. تم توزيع الاستبانة على عينة مقصودة من رؤساء الأقسام العلمية بكلية التربية الأساسية بلغ عددهم 18 رئيس قسم من الجنسين. وجاءت نتائج الدراسة لتشير إلى وجود ممارسة قوية للعمليات الإدارية التالية: القيادة- التخطيط- التنظيم- الاتصال- التوجيه- اتخاذ القرار. بينما جاءت درجة ممارسة عملية التقويم بدرجة دون المتوسطة. كما دلت النتائج إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية لممارسة العمليات الإدارية تعزى لمتغير الجنس. ولم تدل النتائج إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغيري المسمى الوظيفي والخبرة. The study aimed to identify the degree of practice of managerial processes by the heads of scientific departments within the College of Basic Education in the Public Authority of Applied Education and Training in Kuwait. The study focused upon the degree of practice of leadership planning, organization, communication, consultation, decision-making, and evaluation. It also investigated differences related to several variables, such as gender, occupation, and experience. A questionnaire consisting of 51 items divided along seven dimensions was distributed among a purposive sample of 18 heads of scientific departments within the College of Basic Education. The results showed a strong degree of practice of the managerial processes of leadership, planning, organization, communication, consultation, and decision-making and weak practice of the process of evaluation. The results also revealed no differences among the views of the research sample according to the variables of occupation and experience, while differences were shown for the variable of gender.
