This study aims to reveal parenting styles and their relations to creativity among the students of the first three grades. The parenting styles are classified into: (democratic-authoritarian) and (overprotection –negligent). In order to measure creativity, a random sample of (677) students from the public schools in the Wadi Sir District was used to measure the creative abilities from their teachers’ perspectives. A measure of parenting style applied to the parents of the selected sample as well. The results of the study indicate that the level of creativity was moderate among the sample. The results show that the predominant styles among the parents of the students in the first three grades are the democratic and the overprotective styles. The results, however, do not show a relationship between the parenting style and the level of creativity. In light of the analysis of results and the previous studies, the researcher made up a conceptualization that includes instructions and varied activities to help parents, in collaboration with the school, to develop the students’ creative thinking. The researcher recommends applying this conceptualization constantly. (Author’s abstract)
