The study aims to The disclosure about the effectiveness of teaching methods based on multiple intelligences in improving the academic achievement in the library and research subject for students in first grade secondary in Makkah. A guide preparation to the library and research teacher includes instructions to the teacher in using the situations and teaching methods depending on the theory of multiple intelligences through the topics unit (The information sources organization) from the library book and research for students in first grade secondary in Makkah. Approach of the study: The study followed the quasi- experimental approach based on design of two groups (experimental and control). The study society and its sample: The study society consists of students in first grade secondary for the academic year 1431/1432 in general education schools and its number (60) secondary School. The study sample was limited to the students of first grade secondary in Forty-first secondary school in Makkah sample of (59) students (30) students represents the experimental group and (29) students represents the control group. The study tools and the educational materials: First: the modified image survey instrument multiple intelligences to Mackenzie Second: testing the academic achievement in unit (information sources organization in first grade secondary book (prepared by the researcher). Been confirmed sincerity and persistence in a retail rate (0.7779) and after some point before and after applying the test on the sample, after statistical analysis using the averages and standard deviations and analysis of covariance, and the square of ETA to measure the size of the impact of the proposed program). The study found the following results: There are statistically significant differences at the level of 0.05 between the two control groups (studied in the usual way) and the experimental group which is studied by using the teaching methods based on multiple intelligences in the dimensional application to test the academic achievement at the level of remembering after adjusting the effect of pre-testing for the experimental group.
