استهدف البحث التعرف على فعالية وحدة إثرائية إلكترونية مقترحة في تنمية بعض مهارات التفكير العليا والقيم البيئية لدى تلاميذ الصف السادس الابتدائي، وقد تم تحديد مشكلة هذا البحث في انخفاض مهارات التفكير والقيم البيئية لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية؛ لذا هناك حاجة ماسة لأنشطة إثرائية تلبي احتياجات التلاميذ دراسياً، وتنمي مهارات التفكير العليا لديهم، كذلك إكسابهم القيم البيئية التي تُترجم إلى سلوكيات تتفق والمعايير الأخلاقية والمجتمعية السائدة بالمجتمع. وتمحورت مشكلة الدراسة في السؤال الرئيس الآتي: "كيف يمكن تنمية بعض مهارات التفكير العليا والقيم البيئية لدى تلاميذ الصف السادس الابتدائي في مادة الدراسات الاجتماعية من خلال وحدة إثرائية إلكترونية؟" وقد اعتمدت الباحثة المنهج شبه التجريبي، وتمثلت أدوات البحث في اختبار مهارات التفكير العليا ومقياس القيم البيئية، وكشفت النتائج عن فعالية الوحدة المقترحة في تنمية مهارات التفكير العليا والقيم البيئية لدى تلاميذ الصف السادس الابتدائي. The research targeted identifying the effectiveness of a suggested enriching electronic unit in the development of some of the higher-order thinking skills and environmental values of the primary school students in the sixth grade, where the problem of the current research, which is the drop in the thinking skills and the environmental values, has been specified. Thus, there is a dire need for enriching activities which meet the academic needs of the students and develop their higher-order thinking skills, which also equip them with the environmental values reflected in behaviors that are aligned with the moral and social standards prevailing in the society. The problem of the current study was focused in the following main question: “How can we develop some of the higher-order thinking skills and the environmental values of the primary school students in the sixth grade in the Social Studies school subject through an enriching electronic unit?” The researcher has adopted the quasi-experimental approach, and the research tools were represented in the test of the higher-order thinking skills and the scale of the environmental values. The research results revealed the effectiveness of the suggested unit in developing the higher- order thinking skills and the environmental values of the primary school students in the sixth grade.
