This study aimed to investigating the effect of the brainstorming strategy and Cooperative Learning in the Development of educational achievement in the field of social education for fifth grade students in Jordan To achieve the study goals the researcher prepared a test has been developed to measure the Development of achievement at field of social education. using a quasi-experimental method, group random design in which the experimental first group consisting of (25) students was taught in accordance with the brainstorming Strategies, second group consisting of (25) students was taught in accordance with the Cooperative Learning strategy, and the control group consisting of (25 students) was taught in the usual way. the test was applied to the three groups before and after teaching. The Analysis of Covariance results (T) showed a significant difference at (α≤05,0) between the three groups which is attributed to the Cooperative Learning Strategy (in developing the Development of acquisition of Social studies scientific Concepts for the experimental group. The results also showed that of the variation in the performance of (the experimental groups) students in the posttest of the of Cooperative Learning Strategy on the Development of the brainstorming Strategies is attributed to the Cooperative Learning strategy in developing the Development of acquisition of Social studies scientific Concepts. The study recommended the using of the Cooperative Learning and brainstorming strategy in the teaching of social study scientific, and conducting other similar studies in different educational stages.
