The current study aims at measuring the awareness of the concepts of globalization among the 9th grade students of the primary in the countryside of Taiz governorate and constructing a counseling program to develop their awareness of the concepts of globalization. The researchers used the experimental method. The sample of the study included (20) students from the 9th grade, divided equally into an experimental group and a control group. The researchers used two tools: The Awareness of Globalization Scale of Al-Amiri and Cody (2008) and a counseling program to develop the awareness of the concepts of globalization (prepared by researchers). The results indicated that students of the 9th grade of the primary education have low awareness of the concepts of globalization and that the proposed counseling program was effective in terms of developing awareness of the concepts of globalization among students of the 9th grade.
