This study aimed to investigate the causes and prevention strategies of student violence in Sharkia Vocational Secondary Schools. Descriptive-analytical approach was applied. To gather the data required, a researcher-developed close-ended questionnaire was implemented on a (315) stratified sample randomly selected from the working staff of Sharkia Vocational Secondary Schools. The main conclusion came to is that the indifference to religious education, the lack of good modelling of behavior and the too much mass media violence are main causes of the high level of student violence. The study recommended that religious education ought to be the focal point in order to prevent student violence. (Published Abstract)
