هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرّف على أبرز المعوقات التي تعي ق مشاركة مشرف الدراسات الاجتماعية والوطنية في الأعمال التطوعيّة، وكذلك اقتراح الحلول لزيادة فاعلية مشاركتهم في الأعمال التطوعية، ومن ثم تحديد أبرز الأعمال التطوعية التي يرون أنها مناسبة ويمكنهم المشاركة فيها، وكذلك التعرّف على ما إذا كان هناك ثمّة فروق دالة إحصائيا في النقاط السابقة تعزى إلى اختلاف المنطقة التعليمية (الرياض، القصيم، عسير). وقد استخدم الباحث لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة المنهج الوصفي (المسحي). وقد بينت النتائج أن أكبر معوقات مشاركة مشرفي الدراسات الاجتماعية والوطنية في الأعمال التطوعية قلة المراكز المختصة في تدريب وإعداد المتطوعين، وأن أفضل الحلول التي رآها المشرفون لزيادة فاعلية مشارك تهم بالأعمال التطوعية كانت توفير الدعم المادي من قبل الجهات التي تعنى بالعمل التطوعي، كما بينت النتائج أن أفضل الأعمال التطوعية التي يرغب المشرفون المشاركة بها كانت البرامج المعنية بالأمن الفكري، هذا ولم تبين نتائج الدراسة فروقاً دالة بين المناطق الثلاث – عينة الدراسة - في توجهاتها نحو العمل التطوعي. The study investigates the main obstacles that hinder the participation of social and national studies supervisor in voluntary work, and suggests solutions to increase the effectiveness of their participation in voluntary work. Furthermore, it identifies the supervisors' point of view regarding the most appropriate voluntary work in which they can participate as well as identifying if there are statistically significant differences regarding the previous points attributed to different educational areas (Riyadh, Qassim, Asir). To achieve these goals, the researcher adopts the descriptive approach. The results show that the major obstacle holding the participation of social and national studies supervisors is the lack of specialized centers for training and preparing volunteers. The results also show that the best solution for more effective participation of the social and national studies supervisors is the provision of financial support by agencies concerned with organizing voluntary work. In addition, the study reveals that the most favorite voluntary work to participant supervisors is Intellectual Security programs. Finally, the results do not show significant differences between the three educational areas (the study sample) in terms of the supervisors' attitudes towards voluntary work. (Published abstract)
