هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التحقق من مطابقة الاستجابات على فقرات اختبار أوتيس - لينون للقدرة المدرسية في صورته المعدلة للبيئة السعودية (الصورة S) مع نموذج راش. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة تم تطبيق الاختبار الذي يتكون من (50) فقرة على عينة مكونة من (558) طالبا موزعين على الصفوف الأول والثاني والثالث المتوسط تم اختيارهم عشوائيا من مدارس منطقة الرياض، وقد تم تحليل الاستجابات باستخدام النموذج أحادي التدريج (نموذج راش) المنبثق عن النظرية الحديثة في القياس. وقد أشارت نتائج التحليل إلى مطابقة (33) فقرة من فقرات الاختبار لافتراضات نموذج راش، وحذف (17). وبلغت قيمة معامل الثبات (0,89)، كما تمتع الاختبار بصدق الاتساق الداخلي. This study aims to verify the conformity of the responses to the items of the Saudi-adapted form of Otis-Lennon School Ability Test (Form S) to the Rasch model. To achieve this purpose, the test, which consists of 50 items, is applied on 558 randomly selected students distributed across first, second, and third grade intermediate school students in Riyadh. Responses are analyzed using the one-parameter model, the Rasch model, which emerged from modern measurement theory. The results show that responses to 33 items conform to the assumptions of the Rasch model, whereas 17 do not. The test has a reliability coefficient of 0.89, and has also internal consistency reliability. (Published abstract)
