This study aimed at investigating the big five personality traits among Al-Balqa Applied University students considering their sex, specialization, studying year, university GPA, and income level. The sample consisted of (362) students that were selected randomly. NEO Inventory was applied to measure the big five personality traits. The study showed that the first came and conscience a high level, while neuroticism finally came an average level. The results indicated that females were more conscientious and extraversion more than male. Students of educational and administrative disciplines were more agreeableness than literature, 4th year students were more conscientious than in the 3ed year, and those with low university GPA showed higher rates of neuroscience than those with high GPA, while those with higher GPA showed more openness to experience than those with low GPA. Low-income students showed neuroticism more than those with low incomes, while those with higher incomes showed more extraversion than those with high incomes. Finally, the study recommended that the activities in extraversion, conscientiousness and agreeableness should be integrated into a program that aims to developing the positive personality among the university students.
