هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى استقصاء أثر استراتيجية الويب كويست في اكتساب المفاهيم العلمية وتنمية مهارات التفكير الإبداعي لدى طالبات الصف السادس الأساسي في قصبة المفرق. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة تم استخدام اختبار لاكتساب المفاهيم العلمية واختبار لمهارات التفكير الإبداعي، بالإضافة إلى إعداد دليل المعلم يساعد في تدريس الوحدة وفق استراتيجية الويب كويست. وتم اختيار عينة الدراسة بالطريقة القصدية، حيث بلغ عدد أفراد العينة (65) طالبة من طالبات الصف السادس الأساسي في مدرسة الربيع الأساسية المختلطة في مديرية تربية المفرق، في الفصل الدراسي الأول من العام 2015/2016م. قسمت إلى مجموعتين تكونت الأولى من (33) طالبة درسوا باستخدام استراتيجية الويب كويست، وتكونت الثانية من (32) طالبة درست بالطريقة الاعتيادية. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود فرق دال إحصائياً بين متوسطي علامات الطالبات في مجموعتي الدراسة على اختبار اكتساب المفاهيم العلمية لصالح الطالبات اللواتي درسن بالطريقة التجريبية. كما توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود فرق دال إحصائياً بين متوسطي علامات الطالبات في اختبار مهارات التفكير الإبداعي لصالح المجموعة التجريبية. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of web quests strategy in science teaching on scientific concepts acquisition and developing creative thinking skills toward science among the 6th grade students in Mafraq. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, the researcher utilized concepts acquisition test and creative thinking skills test, and a teacher’s guide was prepared to help the teacher in teaching according to the web quests strategy. A purposeful sample of 65 female students were selected from Alrabia Basic School in Mafraq governorate during the first semester 2015/2016 subjects were assigned to two groups: the first consists of 33 females, taught by using web quests and the second consists of 32 females taught by the ordinary method. The results of the study revealed that there was a statistically significant difference between the means of the two groups of the study on the concept acquisition test in favor of the experimental group and there was a statistically significant difference between the means of the two groups of the study on creative thinking skills test in favor of the experimental group.
