The purpose of this study was to identify the role of the school environment in alleviating the phenomenon of school violence in the basic stage from the point of view of teachers and school principals in Bani Obaid. It also aimed to identify the differences between the responses of the sample members on the role of the school environment in reducing the phenomenon of school violence for the variables of job title, experience and gender. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was designed. The researcher adopted a sample of the study on the random stratified sample method. The researcher distributed 350 questionnaires to the teachers, (32%) of the study population. (321) questionnaire was retrieved. After reviewing the questionnaire, there were (17) invalid questionnaire for the statistical analysis. Thus, the sample of the study consisted of (304) teachers and teachers. The school has a moderate effect on reducing the phenomenon of school violence in the basic stage from the point of view of the teachers and school principals in the Bani Obaid district. It also shows that there are no differences in the opinions of the sample members according to their personal variables. (Published Abstract)
