هدفت الدراسة التعرف على المعيقات التي تواجه الباحثين في محافظة الخليل وسبل التغلب عليها من وجهة نظرهم، و تكونت عينة الدراسة من (65) باحثا وباحثة، تم اختيارهم بطريقة العينة العشوائية البسيطة. أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أهم المعيقات التي تواجه الباحثين، عدم إسهام الجامعات في نفقات البحث العلمي، قلة اهتمام الجامعات بالبحث العلمي وتطويره بما يتناسب مع متغيرات العصر، قلة المراجع الحديثة في المكتبة الجامعية التي تفيد الباحث في بحثه، ضعف اهتمام أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالبحث العلمي، قلة توافر مجلات علمية محكمة ذات تصنيف عالمي عالي المستوى. أما اهم سبل التغلب على المعيقات، إجراء بحوث لها عالقة بالمشكلات التي تحتاجها الجامعة والمجتمع، التعاون مع المؤسسات ذات الاختصاص لدعم نشر البحوث المتميزة، تسهيل إجراءات الباحث للمشاركة في المؤتمرات العلمية، توفير قاعدة بيانات لتسهيل المعطيات الخاصة بالبحث العلمي، كما اشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى: 1) عدم وجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند المستوى (0.05≥α) في متوسطات المعيقات التي تواجه الباحثين في محافظة الخليل تعزى لمتغيرات الجنس، وسنوات الخبرة، والتخصص. 2) عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند المستوى (0.05≥α) في متوسطات سبل التغلب على المعيقات التي تواجه الباحثين في محافظة الخليل تعزى لمتغير الجنس، وسنوات الخبرة، والتخصص. The present study aims at recognizing the impediments that face academic researchers and the ways to overcome them in Hebron District. The data of 65 female as well as male researchers is chosen using the Simple Random Sample. As for results, the study come out with the following findings, universities do not offer research expenses, universities hardly make developments in scientific research so that it keeps up with recent changes, lack of modern academic references in university libraries, professors' inexperience in making academic research and the insufficient amounts of highly classified journals that the libraries offer. Nevertheless, the researcher sets a group of actions that may help in overcoming the impediments mentioned above. These include; (I) conducting researches on the methods that may help in recognizing the difficulties related to university and community, (II) cooperating with all parties of the same interest in publishing distinguished researches, (III) helping researchers to participate in scientific symposiums and (IV) establishing a database of researches to help all people of interest to easily access to or refer to all conducted researches. The results also show that there are no considerable differences on averages of the impediments among researchers due to variations of age, gender or specialization at (α ≤0.05). Likely, there are no considerable differences on averages on the ways of overcoming the impediments due to variations of age, gender or specialization. (Published Abstract)
