The present study aimed at investigating the effect of work pressure on primary school teachers working at the wilaya of Mostaganem, Algeria and some of their personal variables. The sample consisted of (328 teachers), the researcher used the measure of work pressure in the school environment "prepared by Dr. Mansouri Mostafa (2004) at the University of Oran 2 and confirmed the psychometric characteristics of it. The results of the study revealed that primary school teachers suffer from an average level of work pressure and that the following sources: working conditions, poor relationships with pupils, workload, progress and professional development, role conflict are their most stressful sources, There are differences due to the variable years of service in the field of teaching in favor of the average years of service, followed by those with the highest number of years of service and the category of teachers with less years of service in addition to the absence of significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) due to the variables civil status and scientific qualification.
