هدفت هذه الدراسة الى التعرّف على مهارات الاستماع اللازمة للتفوق الدراسي لدى جامعة الملك عبد العزيز. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة، قام الباحث بإعداد استبانة لتحديد مهارات الاستماع اللازمة لطلبة الجامعة، وبناء اختبار مهارات الاستماع لدى طلبة الجامعة، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى وضع قائمة بمهارات الاستماع اللازمة للتفوق الدراسي لطلاب الجامعة، وأظهرت النتائج أن مستوى اكتساب طلاب الجامعة (عينة البحث) لمهارات الاستماع اللازمة للتفوق الدراسي كانت جيدة، وأن مستوى التمكن من هذه المهارات يقع ضمن المستوى الجيد. وفي ضوء نتائج الدراسة قدم الباحث عددا من التوصيات من أهمها: الاهتمام بتدريس مقررات في الاستماع لمرحلة التعليم الجامعي؛ بهدف التدريب المبكر على مهاراته وإتقانها وفقا لأسس علمية، وتدريب المدرسين على إتقان تلك المهارات، ثم كيفية تنميتها لدى طلابهم. The aim of this study was to identify the listening skills necessary for academic achievement at King Abdulaziz University. To achieve the objective of the study, the researcher prepared a questionnaire to determine the listening skills required for university students and to build the listening skills test for university students. For university students. The results showed that the level of university students' acquisition of the listening skills required for academic achievement was good, and that the level of mastery of these skills is within the good level. In the light of the results of the study, the researcher made a number of recommendations, the most important of which are: To teach courses in listening to the university education stage; to aim at early training in his skills and mastery according to scientific bases; and to train teachers to master these skills and how to develop them among their students.
