The study aimed at identifying the relationship between Big Five factors of personality and the performance of teaching among Arabic language teachers in province of Sharourah. To achieve this aim, the researchers used the analytical method. The researchers used the list of five factors of the major personality that were developed by (John, Donahue, and Kentle ,1991), which translated into Arabic (Karamian, 2008), and consists of (44) items, and the second one is to measure the teaching performance, which consists of (21) items. The research sample consisted of (101) teachers chosen by randomly. The results of the study indicated that the most common personal factor is agreeableness and the least common one is neuroticism. The study also found that there is a significant degree in the level of teaching performance in teachers. And there are no significant statistical differences at the level of Big Five factors of personality referred to the study variables, And there are no significant statistical differences at the level of performance of teaching referred to the study variables. In addition, the results indicated that there is a statistically positive relationship correlation between the Extroversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, Openness on experience and the performance of teaching. Whereas there is a negative relationship between neuroticism and performance of teaching, the results showed that the five factors explained (67) variances at the level of teaching performance.
