استهدف البحث: دراسة أثر استخدام إستراتيجية الرحلات المعرفية عبر الويب في تنمية التحصيل المعرفي وبقاء أثر التعلم والاتجاه نحوها لدى عينة من طلاب جامعة أم القرى. استخدم الباحث أدوات عدة تمثلت في: اختبار تحصيلي للمعلومات المعرفية المرتبطة بمقرر تقنية المعلومات لطلاب المستوى الأول (بالفرقة الأولى)- قسم علم المعلومات- كلية العلوم الاجتماعية جامعة أم القرى؛ ومقياس اتجاه نحو استخدام الرحلات المعرفية عبر الويب (ويب كويست)، وتقدير صدقها، وحساب ثباتها. وتوصل البحث إلى النتائج الآتية: 1) إستراتيجية الرحلات المعرفية عبر الويب (ويب كويست) كمتغير يؤثر على تحصيل الجوانب المعرفية المرتبطة بمقرر تقنية المعلومات لدى عينة من طلاب جامعة أم القرى، مقارنة بالطريقة التقليدية. 2) إستراتيجية الرحلات المعرفية عبر الويب (ويب كويست) كمتغير يؤثر على تنمية الاتجاه نحو استخدامها في التدريس لدى عينة من طلاب جامعة أم القرى، مقارنة بالطريقة التقليدية. 3) إستراتيجية الرحلات المعرفية عبر الويب (ويب كويست) كمتغير لا يؤثر في بقاء أثر التعلم، وكذلك الاتجاه لدى عينة من طلاب جامعة أم القرى. The study of the effect of using the Web Quest strategy across the web in the collection of knowledge development and survival of learning effect and the trend towards it among a sample of students from Umm Al-Qura University. The researcher use several tools represented in: achievement test information knowledge associated with the decision of the Information Technology for students of the first level (first year) - Department of Information Science- Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Umm Al-Qura, a measure towards the direction of Web Quest to use via the Web, and estimate the sincerity, and the expense of stability. The research found the following results: 1) Web Quest variable strategy affects the cognitive aspects associated with the collection of information technology among a sample of students from the University of the decision of the Umm Al-Qura,, compared to the traditional way. 2) Web Quest variable strategy affects the development of the trend toward use in teaching among a sample of students from the University of Umm Al-Qura, compared to the traditional way. 3) Web Quest variable strategy does not affect the survival of the impact of learning, as well as the trend among a sample of students from Umm Al-Qura, University.
