The purpose of this research aims at revealing the relationship between normal- neurotic perfectionism and psychological stress, as well as to identify the perfectionism and psychological stress among the sixth grade preparatory students according to the gender variable (males - females) and the branch of study (scientific - literary). The sample consists of (465) male and female students. the results show that there is a positive statistical correlation between normal- neurotic perfectionism and psychological stress and there are statistical significant differences in all of the normal- neurotic perfectionism and psychological stress depending on the variable type in favor of females and no differences depending on the variable specialization in normal-neurotic perfectionism and that there are differences in psychological stress in favor of scientific branch. The study comes out with a number of recommendations and suggestions. (Published abstract)
