In culturally different milieus, in most cases, the new attending college students' slow interaction and cooperation become evident. This can be attributed to the differences related to their understanding of the university cultural components and their inability to communicate with the college students of higher levels. Thus, the importance of this work ensues from comprehending the university convergence. It sheds light on the variable that has an effect in the students' lives. This factor has a role in making those students conformant and convergent via developing their learning abilities and right social capabilities in the light of their success they achieve and their desire to make social accommodations and convergence in different domains inside the university. This step will enable the individuals to be responsible and responsive as well as cooperative in an attempt to find face their problems and find solutions. The present work aims at the following: 1) Recognizing the university convergence among students. 2) Recognizing the individual differences with statistical evidence for that convergence among the university students according to gender (males and females) and specialty of study (humanistic or scientific) and study level (second or fourth), nationality (Arabic, Kurdish or Turkmen). The sample included in this research comprises 600 students (males and females) from both branches of specialty in the colleges of Kirkuk University. The results showed that there are statistical differences concerning the university convergence are found among those students in relation to nationality, the study level and social type. The researcher recommended that educational programs should be paid considerable attention in educational institutes and universities addressing the various cultures that in turn help increasing the students' awareness and their inclination to converge and cooperate. The researcher also suggests that that a similar study should be done on a sample of students in preparatory schools addressing the same objectives. (Published abstract)
