هدفت الدراسة إلى وضع آليات لتطبيق مدخل الإنتاج الخالي من الهدر (Lean production) في الجامعات المصرية من خلال صياغة تصور مقترح، وتم ذلك بعد التعرف على الفلسفة الحاكمة لمدخل الإنتاج الخالي من الهدر، ومظاهر الهدر في الجامعات المصرية، والتحديات التي تواجه استخدام مدخل الإنتاج الخالي من الهدر بالجامعات، ولتحقيق ذلك استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي .ونتج عن الدراسة وضع تصور تم من خلاله اقتراح مجموعة من الآليات لتطبيق مدخل الإنتاج الخالي من الهدر بالجامعات المصرية منها: المتطلبات القانونية، والمتطلبات التنظيمية والبشرية، والمتطلبات المالية، ومتطلبات القيادة، ومتطلبات فريق التطبيق، ومتطلبات اختيار العملية، ومتطلبات تقويم تطبيق مدخل الإنتاج الخالي من الهدر. وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة تخلص الجامعات المصرية من المفاهيم التقليدية لطرق الإدارة الجامعية والأفكار التقليدية الجامدة، وتبني مداخل إدارية حديثة من شأنها تعظيم القيمة المضافة للعمليات بالجامعة من خلال القضاء على الهدر والتحسين المستمر، وارتباط تطبيق مدخل الانتاج الخالي من الهدر في الجامعات المصرية بتوفير القيادة الداعمة لعملية التغيير والتحسين المستمر واختيار القيادة المؤهلة المقتنعة بأهمية التطوير والتحسين المستمر، مع ضرورة قيام قيادات الجامعات المصرية بالتعرف على تجارب الجامعات التي طبقت مدخل الإنتاج الخالي من الهدر ونجحت في تطبيقه للاستفادة منها، واستيعاب أن تطبيق الجامعات المصرية لمدخل الإنتاج الخالي من الهدر يحقق التميز والجودة في كافة عملياتها. The study resulted in suggesting set of mechanisms to apply the Lean production approach in Egyptian universities, including legal requirements, organizational and human criteria requirements, financial needs, leadership requirements, application team needs, process selection requirements, and evaluation requirements. The study recommended that the Egyptian universities should eliminate the traditional concepts of the management methods of the university and the inflexible traditional ideas. It should also adopt modern management approaches that will maximize the benefit of university operations by waste elimination and continuous improvement. The possibility of Lean production application in the Egyptian universities is a function of providing the supporting leadership of the change process, continuous improvement, and the selection of the good qualified leadership that has the conviction of the importance of continuous improvement and development In the meantime, the leaders of Egyptian universities should identify and benefit from the experiences of the universities that have applied the approach of (Lean production) successfully. They also should understand that the application of the Egyptian universities to the Lean production approach would achieve excellence and quality of its all operations. (Published Abstract)
