هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على الصورة الذهنية عن المرشد الطلابي كما يدركها طلاب المنح في الجامعة الإسلامية بالمدينة المنورة. ولغرض البحث، قام الباحث بتصميم مقياس تكوّن من 40 عبارة مقسمة على ثلاثة مجالات هي: الجانب الاجتماعي، والشخصي، والمهني. وتكوّنت عينة الدراسة من 377 طالبا من الطلاب الوافدين في الجامعة الإسلامية، تم اختيارهم بطريقة عشوائية. وأسفرت الدراسة عن وجود صورة سلبية عن المرشد الطلابي لدى أفراد عينة الدراسة في الدرجة الكلية للدراسة، وفي كافة محاور الدراسة. كما كشفت الدراسة عن وجود فروق ذوات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير القارة التي ينتمي إليها الطالب، لصالح الطلاب الآسيويين؛ ووجود فروق ذوات دلالة إحصائية بين استجابات أفراد الدراسة تعزى لمتغير المستوى الدراسي. في حين أظهرت الدراسة عدم وجود فروق ذوات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير نوع الدراسة في المرحلة الثانوية. The study aimed at identifying counselor's perceived mental image by a sample of grants students at Islamic University in Madinah. For the purpose of the research, the researcher designed a scale composed from (40) items divided into three fields: the social, personal, and professional. A total number of 377 from grants students at Islamic University participated in the study were selected by non-random sampling manner. The result of the present study revealed that: there was a negative mental image about the counselor from the view point of students with respect to the total score of scale or its subscales. The study also revealed a statistically significant differences attributed to the variable of student's continent in favor of Asian students. Also, there were a statistically significant differences between participants' responses due to academic level variable. Finally the study showed that the differences between participants' responses attributed to study's type variable at the secondary stage don’t statistically significant. (Published Abstract)
