The study aimed to know the level of religious commitment that students of preparatory schools have, and to know the statistical significance differences among the students of preparatory schools in religious commitment and psychological hardness according to: gender and specialization. It also aimed to know the relation between religious commitment and psychological hardness that students of preparatory schools have. The sample included (400) students were chosen stratified randomly from students of preparatory schools within the General Director of Education / Third Karkh in Baghdad Governorate. They were distributed equally by sex and specialization. The study used two scales for research: Religious commitment scale, which has prepared by (Alhajar & Radhwan) for research and psychological hardness scale which has prepared by (Mkhaimer). These scales were used after developing them for this study through extracting the validity and reliability. To analyze the data statistically, the study used means (t) test equation for one sample, and (t) test equation for two samples independently, and Pearson correlation coefficient.
