هدف البحث إلى تعرف دور الدورات التدريبية في أثناء الخدمة في تحسين الأداء التدريسي لمعلمي التربية الفنية. وتعرف الفروق بين إجابات المعلمين تبعا لمتغيرات البحث: (سنوات الخبرة، عدد الدورات التدريبية، والمؤهل التعليمي). اعتمد الباحث على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وشملت عينة البحث (35) معلما ومعلمة تربية فنية في مدينة الجهراء، بنى الباحث أداة استبانة مكونة من (74) بندا موزعة على ثلاثة محاور، ومن أهم النتائج: 1) توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطات إجابات المعلمين عن استبانة البحث تعزى إلى متغير سنوات الخبرة لصالح الأفراد الذين يمتلكون سنوات خبرة أكثر من (15) سنة. 2) لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطات إجابات المعلمين عن استبانة البحث تعزى إلى متغير الدورات التدريبية. 3) توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطات إجابات المعلمين على استبانة البحث تعزى إلى متغير المؤهل العلمي لصالح الأفراد الذين يمتلكون مؤهلا علميا (دبلوم فأعلى) في التربية الفنية. وتوصل البحث إلى عدد من المقترحات، أهمها: عقد دروات تدريبية لمعلمي التربية الفنية وبشكل مستمر ومكثف لأن هناك كبرى أهمية لهذه الدورات التدريبية وهذا ما اتضح من استجابات أفراد عينة البحث عن أهمية هذه الدورات من وجهة نظرهم. ينبغي تطوير المهارات التدريسية لدى معلمي التربية الفنية من خلال الدورات التدريبية المستمرة. Objective of this research is to know the role of in –service training courses to improve teaching performance for technical education teachers and know the differences between the answers of teachers depending on the variables: (years of experience, number of training courses, and qualification). The researcher adopted a descriptive analytical method. The sample consisted of (35) male and female teachers of Art Education in Al-Jahra City. The researcher built a questionnaire consisting of (74) items distributed on three axes. The most important results: 1) There are significant differences between the mean answers of teachers to identify research attributable to the variable of years of experience for the benefit of individuals who possess years of experience more than 15 years. 2) No statistically significant differences between the averages answers of teachers to identify research attributable to the variable of training courses. 3) There are significant differences between the mean answers of teachers to identify research attributable to the variable of educational level for the benefit of individuals who possess the qualification of (diploma or higher) in Art Education. The research found a number of proposals, most notably: 1) Training sessions for technical education teachers, continuously and intensively because there is the importance of these training courses and dramatically and this is what turns out from members of the research sample responses about the importance of these courses from their point of view. 2) Teaching skills should be developed with technical education teachers through regular training sessions.
