This study aims at identifying the impact of using educational scaffolding strategy in developing mathematical problems solving of the female students in the seventh grade in Gaza. Content analysis of rational numbers unit, and the test of solving mathematical questions skills. The study was applied on a sample that consists of 55 female students of the seventh grade at Jarar AlQodwa Secondary School in West Khanyounis governorate. two classes were randomly selected; the first as an experimental group (26 students) that were taught by the educational scaffolding method, while the second is a control group (29 students) was taught the same unit by a traditional method. The researcher used the descriptive approach. The most important findings of the study: 1) There are statistically significant differences at the level (α =.05) between the mean scores of students of the experimental group and the mean scores of their peers in the control group in test of mathematical questions solving skills in favor of students in the experimental group. 2) There are statistically significant differences at the level (α = .05) between the mean scores of high achievement students of the experimental group and the mean scores of their peers in the control group in test of mathematical questions solving skills in favor of students in the experimental group. The most important findings of the study: 1) The teachers need to pay attention to using the educational scaffolding strategy in teaching of mathematics. Supervisors and mathematics curriculum designers also need to pay the attention to designing different curricula in accordance with the educational scaffolding strategy. 2) It is necessary for teachers to use new strategies in teaching mathematics so as to help in developing concepts, skills and mathematical questions and raise the achievement level of the female students.
