The present study aimed to determine the effect of overlapping between some direct teaching methods in learning the performance of 1,500 meters running, and this is by using the researchers the experimental method with the (equal groups) method, which suits the nature of the research problem. The research population was the third-grade students in the Faculty of Physical Education - Baghdad University for the academic year 2012 -2013 where the research sample was made from two divisions, which were divided into 4 experimental groups and by (9) students per group, and therefore, the total number of the research sample was (36 students) by (56%) of the research population. The researchers excluded the students who failed or deleting registration, the students of the exploratory test, the students who were participating in the events (track and field), and the regular absent students, who were (30) by 44% from the research population, who were 66 students. The research sample were subjected to the tests form in order to test the 45 meters running and the achievement test of 1500m running to achieve homogeneity of the sample by the researchers who chose the research population intentionally, who were the third-graders, and this shows the convergence of their training age, and equal educational stage and convergence age, as well as weight and length. They also test the application and return it to achieve the stability of these tests and sincerity. The research aims to: 1) Identify the impact of teaching methods (imperative, training) with the training method of (Condenser, distributor) in learning the event of 1500 meters running. 2) Identify the best method of learning used in the event of 1,500 meters running.(Published abstract)
