تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن طبيعة العلاقة بين الذّكاء الوجداني، ومستوى الكورتيزول لدى طلبة الجامعة، ولتحقيق هذا الهدف طبقت أدوات الدراسة (مقيـاس الذّكاء الوجداني، وتحليلات مخبرية لفحص الكورتيزول في البول) على عينة مكونة من (50) طالبا، و(60) طالبة جامعية ممن تتراوح أعمارهم بين (19-21) وتوصلت الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة ارتباطية بين الذّكاء الوجداني، ومستوى الكورتيزول، كما توصلت إلى عدم وجود فروق بين الذّكور والإناث فيما يخـص الذّكاء الوجداني، وكذلك توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة ارتباطية ذات دلالة بـين الذّكاء الوجداني، ومستوى التّحصيل، وأخيراً توصلت إلى أن الذكاء الوجداني يرتبط بعدة مكونات يمكن قياسها وتحليلها عامليا. This study aims to investigate the nature of the relationship between the emotional intelligence and cortisol level among under graduated students. To achieve this goal the study applied the emotional intelligence scale and tests of urine cortisol to a sample of (50) males and (60) female with average age (19-21). The results of the study indicated that there was a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and the level of cortisol. In ad diction, there were no differences between males and females in the emotional intelligence the study found a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and the level of achievement. Finally the study found that emotional intelligence is linked to several components which can be measured and analyzed. (Published abstract)
