يركز هذا البحث على دراسة 17 طالباً ما قبل المدرسة في مركز الحضانة والروضة في مدينة إربد/شمال الأردن. تم تعليم طلاب ما قبل المدرسة مهارات القراءة والكتابة محددة في إطار مجموعات تعليمية تعاونية صغيرة، حيث تم تقييم مستوى مهارة الطلاب في بداية ومنتصف العام الدراسي. كان هدف الباحث تحديد ما إذا كانت مهارات القراءة والكتابة في المجموعات الصغيرة من شأنها تحسين مستوى مهارة طلاب ما قبل المدرسة؛ وقد وجد أن استخدام المجموعات الصغيرة يعد وسيلة فعالة لزيادة مستوى مهارات القراءة والكتابة لطلاب ما قبل المدرسة. This study focused on 17 preschool students in a northern Jordan city. Preschoolers were taught specific literacy skills in a small group instructional setting. The students’ skill level was assessed at the beginning and middle of the school year. The researcher’s goal was to determine if teaching literacy skills in a small group setting would improve the skill level of the preschool students. Results showed that using small groups was an effective way to increase preschool students’ literacy skill levels.(Published abstract)
