The current study aimed to measure the effectiveness of strategic learning through conceptual maps on students' achievement in computer for the first Graders of a high school in Dhahran City in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The programming unit was chosen to achieve this objective on the students of Grade one at a high school. This unit was prepared in details. In light of what was done, the achievement test was set by two researchers, the Semi-Experimental Method was used to accomplish the objectives of the study. The study was applied to a sample of (33) male students which was divided into two groups; the first was Controlled Group (16) students taught in traditional method. The second Experimental Group (17) was taught through the strategy of conceptual maps. The results of the analysis showed signs of students on the two achievement tests on the post and pre-application via variety analysis test. There are clear statistic differences among average achievement of the students according to the variable for the Experimental Group. (Published Abstract)
