The research aims to identify the effectiveness of a suggested training program that is based on accelerated learning in the development the skill of mental map for the sixth grade students in Riyadh. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher used the one-group quasi-experimental design, by using an observation card as a research tool to measure the effectiveness of the training program. The tool was used on a sample consisted of (158) students. The researcher trained teachers of Math on the procedures of accelerated learning in accordance with the model (HTTA) in the development of the skill of the mental map, and then the teachers trained their students, and the experiment lasted five weeks. The findings of the research showed a clear effectiveness for the training program on developing the skill of the mental map of the research sample of students. This indicates a statistically significant improvement in the performance of students in a clear manner in the post-application due to being exposed to the independent variable, “the accelerated learning program”, compared with the reapplication. Some recommendations and suggestions were submitted based on the findings of the search.(Published Abstract)
